Mr Ebrahim Jappie
Mr Ebrahim Jappie is the Founder of MediQ SA (PTY) LTD. He is qualified as a mechanical engineer and has insight into the physical science of mechanics, manufacturing, engineering, fabrication and materials.
He has strong global ties to industry leaders in the medical device remanufacturing arena and has an unwavering commitment to driving its efficacies within Africa in general and Southern Africa in particular.
He also has an unwavering need to influence positively the South African healthcare environment.

Dr. Hendrik Johannes Albertse
Chief Medical Officer
Dr Albertse is an expert in medico-legal affairs, practice and hospital administration affairs, medical insurance schemes and remuneration models, as well as numerous medical devices and surgical procedures. He has a strong and established relationship amongst healthcare providers.
His hospital, Midvaal Private Hospital, is the first independent facility to support Reprocessing of SUD’s. Here he sits on the Board of Directors. He also has a collocated private orthopaedic surgery practice at the hospital.
He is responsible for corporate representation before the MCC / SAHPRA in terms of the Medicines and Related Substances Act 101 of 1965, as well as being responsible for guidance on user and hospital / practice affairs and medical insurance.
Mr. Ed Krisiunas
HCW Management Executive
Mr Ed Krisiunas is a US based healthcare waste management consultant with more than 30 years' experience in the healthcare industry. He is currently President of WNWN International, a healthcare waste management consulting firm. He is an expert in infection prevention and occupational health and safety.
Mr Krisiunas has worked in over 50 countries with organisations such as the UNGEF Medwaste Project, WHO, and World Bank.
He is a member of various infection prevention organisations and is currently chair of the IFIC Special Interest Group in Safe Injection Practices and Disposal and Vice-Chair of the ISWA Healthcare Waste Working Group.
Dr. Anwah Nagia
Strategy Advisor Executive
Dr Anwah Nagia is the Chairman of Element Investment Managers. He is also the Executive Chairman of Altius Investment Holdings, the Non-Executive Chairman of Cape Town Market and Africa Commodities Group and the Chairman of the District Six Beneficiary and Redevelopment Trust.
In 2005, the Minister of Finance appointed him as Director of the Financial Service Board (Directorate of Market Abuse), with particular responsibility for market abuse on the JSE. This appointment has been extended for a further 3 years. He is a founder member and past Director of the Association for Savings & Investment South Africa (ASISA) and currently serves on the Nominations Committee.
Dr Nagia has been involved in many contempary and national issues and has spoken and lectured in Sweden, Denmark and United Kingdom on the Built Environment and related social issues.
